The header picture has nothing to do with electricity....I just like it

I have been wanting to get into basic electronics for a few years now.  Just wanted to learn enough to be able to light a few things up.  This is My first experiment.  I bought a small kit from polymathdesignlab's booth at the Vancouver mini makers Fair. The instructions were easy to understand, and there is access to helpfull videos once you purchase the kit.  The design is my own.

This was made for my youngest nephew who is just going off to University.  It stays off till he pushes the battery pouch.
